  • 1 diakon radish
  • 4 pieces imitation crab
  • ½ small cucumber (julienned)
  • ½ small carrot (julienned)
  • 4 sheets nori (seaweed sheets)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Wasabi, soy sauce, and pickled ginger (optional)


  1. Make sheets from the diakon Radish according to VASTA instructions and cut diakon Radish sheets into four 8" long pieces.
  2. Cut nori to fit radish sheets and place one on top of each sheet.
  3. Place one crab piece on each nori-covered radish sheet, then divide the vegetables evenly between the pieces. Roll up tightly. 
  4. Place seam side down on a cutting board and cut each roll into 4 or 5 slices.
  5. Serve with wasabi, soy sauce, and pickled ginger if desired.
  6. Makes 4 servings
